Sriperumbudur is a town of dual significance in Tamil Nadu: it is the birthplace of Sri Ramanujacharya, the great 11th century Vaishnava philosopher whose Vishishtadvaita school shaped Hindu theology; and it is one of Bharat most important electronics and automotive manufacturing hubs where global companies operate massive plants along the Chennai-Bengaluru industrial corridor.
