Howrah is the twin city of Kolkata across the Hooghly river, home to Howrah Junction (the busiest railway station in Bharat by passenger traffic) and the iconic Howrah Bridge (Rabindra Setu), the cantilever bridge completed in 1943 that has become one of the most recognised structures in Bharat and the defining image of Kolkata. 📜 Historical Roots
